Feds deliver $1.4 billion for Federal Way light rail link

The U.S. Dept. of Transportation comes through with $1.4 billion -- a $790 million grant and a $629 million low-interest loan -- for the 7.8 mile Federal Way light rail link. Construction is set to begin early next year.
