FIRST, SHAUN GALLAGHER IS LIVEAT WAUKESHA SOUTH HIGHSCHOOL... WHERE CLASSESCONTINUED AS NORMALTODAY...SHAUN:THE STUDENTS I TALKED TO SAIDTHEY NOTICED A LOT MORE KIDSWERE OUT THAN USUAL TODAY.

THESCHOOL DISTRICT SAYS ABOUT 120KIDS WERE ABSENT, WHICH IS 50PERCENT HIGHER THAN USUAL.STUDENTS AT WAUKESHA SOUTHHIGH SCHOOL RETURNED TO CLASSTUESDAY TO FIND MOREPOLICEUT FEWER CLASSMATES.hallways are kind of quieter.

.BUT YESTERDAY THINGS HERE WEREANYTHING BUT QUIET.POLICE SAYA STUDENT BROUGHT TWO PELLETGUNS TO SCHOOL BECAUSE HE WASANGRY WITH ANOTHER STUDENT.WHEN CONFRONTED BY OFFICERS,THEY SAY HE POINTED ONE OF THEGUNS AT THEM.

BRADYESSER, AN 11-YEAR-VETERAN ONTHE DEPARTMENT, SHOT THESTUDENT THREE TIMES.THESTUDENT WAS TAKEN TO THEHOSPITAL AND IS IN STABLECONDITION.

.POLICE SAY THEY ALSOSEARCHED THE STUDENT'S HOME..more firearms and narcoticsfoudn at that scene that awsin the student's bedroom.

I know we have apolice officer in the school idon't feel unsafe.

If i did,iw oudln't have come to schooltoday but i don't feel unsafe.honestly, it feels likethere's a lot of love andsupport going on in thebuilding.CAPTAIN BAUMANN SAYS THEYEXPECT THE 17-YEAR-OLD SUSPECTCOULD BE CHARGED WITH MULTIPLEFELONIES BUT ULTIMATELY ITWILL BE UP TO THE COUNTYATTORNEY.POLICE SAY THESTUDENT COULD ALSO BE TRIED ASAN ADULT.
