Well komets head coach ben boudreau was hoping last wednesday's overtime win over the wings would be a turning point for his team..so far, so good..the k's winners of three of their last four as they welcome the wings back to the coliseum tonight...???dylan ferguson gets the nod in the net, as the komets look to make it back-to-back wins over their divison rival..???and a good start for fort wayne... already up a goal when we pick it this one midway through the first period... brett mckenzie lights the lamp on the odd man rush... his 20th of the year... it's 2-0 komets..

???wings would get one back early in the second... chance to tie the game on a power play here, but they turn it over in their own zone, and mason bergh makes 'em pay... short handed goal makes it 3-1 k's..???but the wings wouldn't go away... it's a one goal game late in the second period... another power play, and this time kalamazoo cashes in... tanner sorenson knots things up at three as we head to the third..???but the k's get back down to business in the final 20 minutes... mckenzie with the beautiful backhand pass to a streaking brady shaw... his second of the night puts the komets on top for good...???fort wayne wins, 5-4 your final..

The k's are back home friday and saturday..

They'll face toledo for an 8 p-m puck drop friday..
