(Part 2 of 2.

Originally aired February 19, 2020) The parents of an adopted baby get a heartwarming surprise on an airplane.

If only they came with instruction manuals.

Most brand new parents are filled with wonder and worry when they bring their child home.

One couple found themselves surrounded by wisdom and love for their baby on a flight home.

Southwest babyshower pkg: the kindest of messages written on napkins- from perfect strangers on board a plane- but it was no ordinary southwest flight for dustin and caren moore - they were bringing home their newborn daughter.

Because my wife and i have been trying to have children for nine years so this little peanut is the culmination of a lot of prayer and a lot of patience and we have lost a lot of pregnancies and in our times are hopeless challenged us to if we'd ever be able to be parents this is an open and honest and it asked that we not show that 80 studies or reveal her name we had this newfound set of securities in paris will be able to will be treat her daughter the same as the week she was born to us i would people treat her differently and adopted the notes to them the answer they didn't care at all date they feared and they were excited they were just happy for us to go to a special book for their baby daughter to read herself one day this is perfect for the master hope that and more so that this is the first of many children that they will come into their heartsthere are always people that you remember from long ago.

Some are school friends who moved away.

People and places where you just lost touch.

Some of those people can leave a profound impact, even after a short but meaningful encounter.

Lynne meena arrived in san francisco thusday, remembering a time 56 years ago when she was a peace corps volunteer in abadan, iran 13:01:45 -meena pulling out photos at sf airport i pulled out some of my student pictures from many years ago,&.

That was 1964,&and e-ran murphy has spent much of her life rembering that time too.

She was 10 years old when miss meena, then a peace corps volunteer, taught school: e-ran - she made the whole class fall in love with the u.s.// i just talked to my older sister and she was telling me, 'all you did when you came home was 'miss meena this, miss meena that' e-ran murphy learned english from miss meena, and lessons about western culture that would make immigrating 9 years later to california easier,&even though so much changed: dissolve back in time the peace corps pulled out of iran in 1972 as the friendship between iran and the united states disintegrated,&.bu t not e-ran's memory of miss meena, the peace corp volunteer: dissolve back 5:38:35 rosstin murphy my mom just kept talking about miss meena, by the time e-ran's son rosstin was an adult and completed his own peace corps mission to china in 2012, he'd heard enough: roostin murphy: 'this is the information age.

If you want to find someone you can find them and i just told her, 'go do it.

Why not?

With the help of the internet - and the peace corps -- lynne meena today 12:31:13 i'm beyond excited,&i'm about to tear up&.

They agreed to meet again,& in san francisco,&yester day: e-ran walks in hugs & squeels&..

The peace corps was allow to serve in iran only 14 years&.

Nats - back and forth between the 2 women&..

Going through pictures&.

E-ran: that's me.

Lynne meena: what?

That's you?

Lynne meena and e- ran murphy had the privilate for being part of that brief moment in history nats going through pictures&.

Lynne meena: it says 1965,&.

Raising the question: what would have happened if more iranians and people from the united states had the opportunity to know each other?
