Consol Energy Inc. received a citation from the Mine Health and Safety Administration in connection with the August 2019 incident that killed an employee of its Enlow Fork Mine in Washington County. Tanner McFarland, 25, died when a 25-foot section of the mine fell on him on the evening of Aug. 29 as he was leaving the area of the longwall mining operation.
