In Lebanon, thousands are displaced from border towns by clashes, stretching state resources

Over 4,200 people have been displaced from villages in south Lebanon due to clashes on the border with Israel. Local officials are concerned about the lack of resources and preparation for a larger exodus if the conflict escalates. Many of the displaced individuals are staying in schools in the city of Tyre, but resources are limited. The Lebanese government has appealed to international organizations for assistance. The ongoing clashes have killed at least 22 people in Lebanon.
